    Yahoo email group for Hackney based groups and communities, facilitating shared information about their work and forthcoming events. Contains much useful information, though access is not open (you have to apply to join). You will need an email address, but you don't have to create a Yahoo account to subscribe - just send an empty email to hackneycommunitynews-subscribe@yahoogroups.co.uk - when (eventually) prompted, join the mailing list not the Yahoo group.
