Themes : eGovernment.

There doesn't seem to be a single definition of e-Government, so let's focus on features which would be useful to older people in this country - it means use of the Internet

  • by local and national government to deliver services and information
  • by citizens to contact and deal with government officers and politicians

Government is generally supportive of these developments, but how is it working out in practice? If your local council provides online services, how do you find out about them and how do you use them? Is e-Government friendly to older people, or does it threaten to exclude us? Does it really offer anything new? Do we have experiences and insights we can share with each other?
